Judging in MMA as we all know is fairly consistent. However, I am amazed that three judges can look at the same fight, and come up with different scores! Judging has been, and will always be subjective. One judge may put more weight on groundwork, whereas his contemporaries may not, and vice-versa.
On this night Judge Sal D’Amato scored the main event 49-46 for the winner Michelle Waterson, making him the only human I know of to not have this fight 38-38 heading into the fifth round! I am wondering what he bases his scoring on, and how he got to where he did?
