Island Fights is Back August 2nd with Island Fights 58

Dean Toole’s Island Fights Promotion, known for continually providing opportunities for fighters to take the next step in their careers as they carve their respective paths to the vaunted UFC Octagon, is back August 2nd from the Pensacola Bay Center, and will stream around the world via UFC Fight Pass with another stacked card full of fighters that are one, or possibly two fights away from making their dreams come true.

Mike Perry, Michael Davis,  and Chase Sherman are just a few Island Fight veterans that have made the jump to the UFC after performing with the Pensacola based promotion. As usual this next card on August 2nd is full of talented athletes that are out to prove that they can compete at the highest level of the sport against anyone in the world.

There are a few gentlemen on this card that are on the radar of the UFC.Former  University of Alabama and NFL prospect Marcel “Swift” Stamps, Island Fights OG and undefeated heavyweight Dillon”Bad Boy” Cleckler, and Tyler “Zombie” Hill, are just a few of the fighters on this card ready for the next level.

ISLAND FIGHTS 58 – FULL CARD ( Not in Order)

Dejuan Robinson vs Chase Boutwell – Bantamweight

Deivison Ribeiro vs Jacob Kilburn – Featherweight

Carlos Guerra vs Lucas Alexander – Featherweight

Eduardo Diez vs Joe Penafiel – Catch-weight

Cade Howell vs Alvin Brown – Welterweight

Tyler Hill vs James Freeman Jr. – Welterweight

Marcel Stamps vs Matt McKeon – Middleweight

Dillon Cleckler vs Jordan Mitchell – Heavyweight

Island Fights 58 takes place August 2nd from The Pensacola Bay Center and streaming on UFC Fight Pass

Christopher James has been in the MMA industry for 15 years, Working as a ring announcer for promotions like the XFC, Island Fights, Combat Night and Fight Nights Global during his career. Chris’ love for the sport and the athletes that partake in it led him to writing and doing face to face interviews with the athletes he admired and respected. Chris isn’t conventional by any stretch of the imagination, he has his own style, and takes pride in not being a “cookie-cutter” member of the media. Unique and sometimes controversial takes are what he brings to the table, forcing folks to think a little differently about the world of MMA. He also has a love for music as he has been a dj for 25 years and his love for music gets brought to the MMA world when he gets his guests to sing on his weekly show Cage Side with Christopher James which can be seen Wednesday nights on FACEBOOK LIVE, and soon via podcast.
