Chris Sarro is coming off a loss to Josh Burns in his last outing for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship where he competed at heavyweight. A move many felt Sarro should not have made, as he is deemed by many to be on the smaller end of the heavyweight spectrum. I’m not sure how a 245lb man is considered “small”!
Sarro, not to be deterred by the critics, or a loss has set his sights on Haim Gozali, the former mixed martial artist, the man who brought Bellator MMA to Israel, who debuted for #BKFC at last month’s event #KNUCKLEMANIA1 and took home a victory in his debut.
Sarro is training in Puerto Rico with fellow fighter Elvin Leon Brito and decided to make his intentions to fight Gozali known. (see video)
Chris Sarro is no doubt a tough human being, you have to be to toe that line. And although he talked a big game before his last bout vs Burns, and didn’t get the job done that night, it hasn’t changed the energy he carries inside and his willingness to call out another man to engage in battle inside the squared circle as evidenced by the above video where he took a few verbal jabs at Gozali to gauge his potential foe’s interest in fighting. However, if there is none by Gozali, I fully expect Sarro to ramp up his smack talk to get Gozali to fight him.
Sarro vs Gozali could be a very interesting fight if it happens. Let’s wait and see if Gozali responds to the call out from Sarro, stay tuned…
