Walt “The Big Ticket” Harris, a threat to all heavyweights in the UFC is heading back to action this Saturday night in Jacksonville, Florida, and everyone that could be a potential opponent should worry.
Harris, who hasn’t fought since last July when he ended the night of Alexey Oleynik in 12 seconds with a brutal knockout makes his return against Alistair Overeem in the main event of UFC fight night in Jacksonville at the VyStar Memorial Arena, which is the culmination of a 3 event fight week for the UFC.
Harris was on a 3 fight winning streak before his career and life were turned upside down with the disappearance of his daughter Aniah Blanchard, who was kidnapped and murdered. His family has been traumatized, and yet they are moving forward with life and making sure Aniah’s name lives on forever.
Harris and I sat down by the river in Jacksonville and had a nice conversation where we discussed his career, his life, and so much more.
Hope you enjoy!
