Brok “Chata Tuska” Weaver the MOAW Indian from Macintosh, Alabama who made his way to the UFC via Island Fights and Dana White’s Contender Series where just two weeks ago he stole the show and earned his UFC contract has a date and opponent for his UFC debut.
Weaver gets his debut October 12th in Tampa, Florida against the tough and gritty Thomas Gifford in a lightweight battle on the undercard of Waterson vs Jedrzejczyk.
Weaver who fought at 170 on the Contender Series returns to his normal lightweight division is beyond excited to get this fight, especially because it is in Florida which will make it easier for members of his tribe in Alabama to make the trip to see him make his debut.
Gifford 17-8 vs Weaver 14-4 should be an action-packed affair and a great fight for Weaver to make UFC debut.
