Island Fights veteran Brok Weaver made an appearance tonight on Dana White’s Contender Series against a very tough opponent in Devyn Smyth and fought his way to a well earned unanimous decision victory on ESPN+ in front of UFC President Dana White.
In the fight, Weaver’s will was tested by Smyth’s relentless take-down attempts. Weaver undeterred by the grappling heavy work from his opponent kept landing strikes while thwarting the take-down attempts as he worked his way to the unanimous decision victory.
After securing the win Weaver in his post-fight interview, which was epic beyond belief asked White “What do I gotta do to get with you?” Well, it seems as if Weaver did all he needed to do to impress the boss because Dana White has awarded Weaver with a UFC contract. Dana White had many great things to say about Weaver including he has intensity and personality for days, he loves his work with his hands, and “I would be an idiot not to sign Brok Weaver”!
Welcome to the Show Brok Weaver!
Greatest #DWCS post-fight interview ever?!"Dana! What do I gotta do, to get with YOU!?"
