For those folks who say BKFC couldn't afford Nate Diaz, You are 100% wrong! Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship President, David Feldman has publicly stated the promotion's interest in getting into the Nate Diaz business, something he wouldn't do if the company couldn't make a legitimate offer to Diaz. If I remember correctly, BKFC once made a one-off offer to Mike Tyson for 10 or 20 million dollars. The offer was legitimate. They paid Paige VanZant … [Read More...] about Can BKFC Afford Nate Diaz?

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship sent out a memo to their roster stating that no athlete or member of the athlete's team can wear any gear with CBD, or marijuana logos anymore, at any official BKFC function. The reason; is a new TV deal. Since the memo was released, the buzz from the BKFC community has been big. From fighters trying to figure out how to honor obligations to sponsors from the aforementioned CBD/marijuana industry, to what company is BKFC partnering up with for future broadcasts. Without being able to wear gear with said sponsor logos, many athletes seem to be panicked as to how they can promote their sponsors. The answer is really quite simple; social media. While the easiest way to promote is to have a logo on your fight shorts or fight shirt on a major broadcast, athletes today should be truly focusing on building their brand via social media. Yes, this requires the athlete to put in a little more time into building themselves, but they should have been … [Read More...] about BKFC Not Keen On “The Green” As New Broadcast Deal Is To Be Announced

Cage Side with Christopher James EXCLUSIVE: BKFC Star Francesco Ricchi ” I Went To The ER, Passed Out, Woke Up and It Was December”
by Christopher James
Francesco Ricchi fought Noah Cutter on Friday, November 13th at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship #BKFC14. It was one helluva fight as Cutter controlled it early and nearly finished Ricchi. However, Ricchi showed his true warrior spirit and mounted what many people thought was the comeback win of the year when he finished Cutter in the 3rd round via TKO. What we didn't know was that Ricchi had sustained what we would later find out was a life-threatening injury after sustaining an injury to his larynx after an errant pair of punches caught him in the throat. Ricchi ended up hospitalized, and in a medically induced coma from the injury. He had blood in his lungs, and luckily the good folks at Broward General Hospital were on point and able to act swiftly to save this man's life so he could share his story with all of us. Ricchi took home the win but nearly suffered the biggest loss in doing so. I had Ricchi on The Cage Side with Christopher James Show on Thursday, … [Read More...] about Cage Side with Christopher James EXCLUSIVE: BKFC Star Francesco Ricchi ” I Went To The ER, Passed Out, Woke Up and It Was December”

Cage Side with Christopher James Chats with TITAN FC C.O.O. Lex McMahon
by Christopher James
Tuesday night TITAN Fighting Championship C.O.O Mr. Lex McMahon took some time away from a movie night with his family to jump on the show. We discussed TITAN's next event slated for May 29th, sports being deemed as "essential businesses" in Florida. The WWE and their Performance Center in Orlando as a possible destination on May 9th for the UFC after the cancellation of UFC 249 and the possible real reason it was canceled, which seemingly had more to do with politics and not so much to do with MMA or public safety as the State of California's Democratic leadership wants us to believe. So much fun, including Lex singing on the show, which has become a time-honored tradition, and a favorite segment of mine, and the fans of the show. Sit back relax, and pay attention to McMahon during this interview, he shares some wisdom and knowledge that we can all use in our lives. Click the link and enjoy the show, and subscribe to my Youtube channel while you're at … [Read More...] about Cage Side with Christopher James Chats with TITAN FC C.O.O. Lex McMahon

Cage Side with Christopher James Revisits Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 5 with Jason Knight and Artem Lobov
by Christopher James
Last week we celebrated the greatest fight to date at David Feldman's Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, Artem Lobov vs. Jason Knight which took place at BKFC 5 in April of 2019 in Biloxi, Mississippi. Knight and Lobov put on an amazing fight that night, and just like Stephan Bonnar and Forrest Griffin's fight at the conclusion of season 1 of the UFC's The Ultimate Fighter helped the UFC catch fire, Knight vs. Lobov did the exact same thing for BKFC! What better way to reminisce about that incredible battle than by talking with the two men who actually created that moment. Here is my conversation with Knight and Lobov. We covered their bout, a possible trilogy and if they would ever face one another in an MMA contest since both are UFC veterans as well as Bare Knuckle fighters. We even discussed a bare-knucle MMA fight! David Feldman let's make that happen!
